A rolling calendar of the annual environmental and gardening awareness days most relevant to grounds maintenance — Earth Day, No Mow May, World Bee Day and more — with the practical grounds angle explained for each.
The page calculates the next occurrence of each day from today's date and surfaces the soonest as the next-up card. Fixed dates roll over annually; weekday-based and variable dates are recalculated or flagged for confirmation each year.
Some are fixed — Earth Day is always 22 April and World Bee Day is always 20 May. Others move, such as National Tree Week, National Gardening Week and Big Garden Birdwatch, so variable dates should be confirmed with the organiser.
Use each day as a scheduled checkpoint: refresh lawns and borders, check hedges for nesting birds, plan wildflower or pollinator areas, and confirm green waste is recycled through a registered carrier.
Book a survey or request a quote before the next awareness day, so your grounds are ready when the date arrives.
