Grass Barbers gardening team was called to evaluate regular grounds maintenance project in Croydon CR0. We have been instructed to outline current issues with existing contractors and increase the quality of maintenance to regular Grass Barbers standards.
Our evaluation team identified key problems and came up with tailored maintenance schedule to improve and maintain the front and back garden. The gardeners started maintenance visit by collecting litter and debris from lawn areas and shrub beds. The next and most established problem tackled was weeding and weed control.
We never pull or strim weeds leaving root material in soil, as this action promotes fast re-growth and weed establishment, rather our NPTC Trained operatives apply weed killer. As part of Autumn maintenance gardening plan we cleared and removed all leaves from parking areas, pavements and landscaped areas. To add to aesthetics we most of the time use Hayter lawnmower, which leaves lovely straight stripes. To recover mature trees from the domination of ivy, gardeners severed it at ground level and removed root material.
All produced green waste was bagged and removed to approved waste disposal centre.
