Commercial Grounds Maintenance Project in Dartford DA1

Grass Barbers corporate grounds maintenance team visited private residential development in Dartford. Site is located on a slope, which makes it extremely windy and litter always makes a havoc behind bins as it gets them flying all around the site.

Gardeners collected litter off the roads, fence lines, hedges and lawns. Using mechanical brush we swept all hard surfaces to remove leafs and left it looking smart and beautiful. Using push rotary lawnmower and strimmer our team maintained grass areas road verges. Using sharp pruning secateurs we shaped ornamental grasses and flowers. Main focus of the maintenance visit was to prepare grounds for winter season, so we applied winter lawn fertiliser to promote root establishment and give the grass support needed during those cold and dark winter days.

Area of wild flower meadow was filled with self seeded tree saplings growing from roots of recently damaged and removed tree. It was cleared and prepared to be maintained as ornamental lawn to improve site image. We also suggested that tree stump should be removed or treated to stop growing large amounts of tree suckers.
