Selsdon is a residential suburban area of South London, which is administered by London Borough of Croydon. Selsdon is surrounded by extensive woodland and grassland areas, historically known as great hunting grounds, which were known as Selsdon Park Estate in the past. Since the war times, the estate was divided into private smallholdings.
